General Description.
The MPR13 like its predecessors is designed to exploit the full advantages that T2 class allows thus being a bespoke prototype with only certain parts lift off from the mass produced model. It uses a steel tube spaceframe with composite body panels from CFRP. It uses a four liter V6 engine with variable valve timing (MIVEC) and dry sump whith 270 PS / 5500rpm and 417Nm / 4500 rpm. It is positioned longitudinally just behind the front axle. There is of course a four wheel drive transmission with 3 differentials, the front and the rear are LSD from Xtrac while the central differential has a manual lock. The gearbox is a 6-speed sequential from Ricardo.
